Navigating taxes with precision planning.
Some tax firms only operate in April and October.
We work for you all year long.
Our Annual Timeline
November & December
We review our capacity and take on new clients two times per year.
By doing this we ensure that every return we commit to is done with care and filed on time.
Our onboarding process goes through the following steps:
Initial consultation: We will schedule an initial consultation to understand your requirements and determine if their services align with your needs.
Agreement and paperwork: Once you decide to move forward, you will be required to sign an agreement that outlines the terms and conditions of our partnership.
Branding customization: For those opting in to white label tax preparation, we will work with you to customize the tax return with your branding and filing identifiers as well as a method for secure file transfer.
Launch and ongoing support: Once the onboarding process is complete and you are satisfied with the setup, you can start referring clients to your customized page. We will continue to offer ongoing support to address any issues that may arise.
January & February
The beginning of the tax year is focused on getting organized and collecting appropriate tax documents.
In January, we deliver checklists to remind clients of potential tax opportunities and the documents they may need to locate in order to file their return. If there are any missing items, this gives the time to retrieve them well before the tax deadline.
We will work with clients to set up their secure online portal for uploading sensitive documents. This also allows clients to upload tax documents throughout they year as the receive them. When the tax return is complete, it will be stored in the client portal and be available to the client on demand. Learn more HERE.
March & April
To ensure all returns are filed by the April 15 deadline, tax documents are due March 15.
Using the tax organizer and client portal for reference, we will communicate with clients to collect remaining documents needed for the tax return. All documents are due by March 15 for clients that wish to have their return filed by the April 15 deadline. Any client that has missing documents after that time will automatically have an extension filed on their behalf. We will do everything in our power to file before the deadline, but we are unable to guarantee results after that time.
Before each return is filed with federal and state authorities, we will consult with the client and/or advisor to review the results of the tax return. Any questions or corrections can be made before we formally file the return.
